What Now, Mr. Wolf?: a book launch of the English translation of Belarusian novel Pa što idzieš, voŭča? by Eva Vezhnavets
Francis Skaryna Libarary and Museum cordially invite you to join the launch of the English translation of the novel published by Bullaun Press. The Belarusian version of the book was first published in Minsk in 2020, and since then was translated ino six languages and awarded the highest prize for prose in Belarus in 2021. Both caustic and soulful, the book reveals the harrowing Belarusian history of the 20th century through the oral testimony of its female narrators.

The event will feature a conversation with the translators Ella and Jim Dingley. A stage reading of the book will be performed by poet Hanna Komar and actress Elena Wojciechowska, with a live musical accompaniment by Alesia Mankouskaya.
