Graphics
A large part of the library’s art collection consists of graphic works. It includes rare sketches by Karuś Kahaniec, an original drawing by Jazep Drazdovič bearing his autograph, linocuts by the Finnish artist Alexanteri Ahola-Valo, a graduate of the Viciebsk Art School, an etching by Michaś Siaŭruk, colour monotypes by Barys Malkin, a significant collection of etchings by Barys Zaboraǔ, and many other works.
The graphics collection formed the basis of an exhibition organised by the library in 2020 to mark the centenary of the Viciebsk art association UNOVIS.
