The Unbroken exhibition dedicated to victims of political persecution in Belarus opened on 5 August 2020. It included a curatorial tour, poetry recitals, and a virtual meeting with the former political prisoner, Natallia Hersche. We are very grateful to:
- Natallia for her candid, deep and inspirational conversation;
- the Swiss Embassies in Minsk and London for facilitating our communication with Natallia and donating her prison uniform to our collection;
- the Ivan Luckievič Museum in Vilnius for lending us very interesting exhibits from the Gulag era and more recent years;
- the Belarusian community in London for artefacts from protest and solidarity events.
